Current status: the official IOQM 2026 portal says the Student Details Correction Facility is closed and that no further correction requests will be accepted through Student Login, email or another mode. Candidates should use the details and centre printed on their issued hall ticket unless the authority publishes a new notice.

The latest banner on the official IOQM portal keeps the hall-ticket download active while closing the earlier correction process. It also warns that requests to change an examination centre—including a change within the same city or for personal convenience—may not be entertained.

HBCSE’s Mathematical Olympiad 2026–2027 page identifies the MTA(I) portal as the official source for first-stage IOQM information. Candidates should therefore treat the live portal and the instructions printed on their own hall ticket as authoritative.

How to download the IOQM 2026 hall ticket

  1. Open the official IOQM 2026 portal at ioqm.mtai.org.in.
  2. Select Student Login and use the enrollment number and date of birth requested by the portal.
  3. Download the hall ticket, save a backup copy and print it clearly.
  4. Read every candidate-specific instruction, especially the examination-centre address and reporting time.

What the closed correction window means

The portal’s current notice says no further student-detail corrections will be accepted through the login, email or any other mode. This is different from a technical-access query: the published student helpdesk may still guide users experiencing portal access problems, but candidates should not assume that contacting the helpdesk creates an exception to the closed correction process.

Likewise, the centre-change warning means a request is not guaranteed merely because the replacement centre is nearby or inside the same city. Plan travel using the centre printed on the hall ticket unless the organising authority directly issues a replacement or a new public notice.

Exam-day items confirmed by the official portal

  • Printed hall ticket: the official FAQ says carrying a printed copy is mandatory.
  • Photo identity document: carry the valid photo ID specified in the hall-ticket instructions.
  • Reporting time: follow the time printed on the hall ticket and reach the examination centre well before it.
  • Examination mode: IOQM 2026 will be conducted offline using an OMR answer sheet.
  • Negative marking: the official FAQ says there is no negative marking.
  • School uniform: the portal says wearing school uniform is not mandatory.

This checklist is a summary, not a substitute for the full instructions on the candidate’s hall ticket. If a printed instruction differs from a third-party summary, follow the official document and seek clarification only through the official helpdesk.

Prepare for the 6 September examination

With registration and correction stages closed, the practical next step is timed preparation. Review the IOQM exam pattern, solve previous IOQM papers and practise marking responses on an OMR sheet. Keep the hall-ticket guide and exam-date page available for last-minute checks.

What candidates should not assume

  • A centre-change request will not necessarily be approved.
  • A hall ticket does not override the published eligibility or selection rules.
  • Appearing in IOQM does not itself qualify a student for RMO; HBCSE’s qualification criteria apply.
  • IOQM.in is not the examination authority, and its guidance cannot reopen a closed official facility.

Sources and verification

  1. Official IOQM 2026 portal — MTA(I): current correction-closure notice, hall-ticket availability, centre-change warning, examination date and official FAQs.
  2. HBCSE Mathematical Olympiad 2026–2027: programme context and confirmation that the MTA(I) portal is the official IOQM information source.

Verification note: both official pages were checked independently on 20 August 2026. The live MTA(I) portal takes precedence for hall-ticket and operational notices.
