The official IOQM-to-RMO cutoff table is available for all 32 regions. Find the correct Category A, Category A Girls or Category B column below, then check your individual status in Student Login.
Official 2026 cutoffs are released
RMO registration opens on 2 November 2026, according to the official IOQM portal. National and regional certificate cutoffs are still pending. This table replaces expected-cutoff estimates for the RMO-selection marks.

How to read the 2026 categories and selection rules
Use the region and class recorded for IOQM 2026. Category A covers Classes 8–11; Category B covers Class 12. The middle marks column is the additional Category A girls’ quota, not a separate Class 12 quota.
- At least 10% of the paper’s total marks is required, but that minimum alone does not guarantee qualification.
- Per region: the top 200 Category A students and top 40 Category B students qualify, including ties at the boundary.
- Five additional Category A girls qualify per region, including ties at that boundary. Category B has no separate girls’ quota.
- Eligible overseas students are not counted when generating the regional cutoffs.

Official notes and individual qualification status
The cutoff PDF states that flagged students were removed before the cutoffs were calculated. Check your individual status in the official Student Login; reaching a table value alone does not override an individual restriction.
The MTA(I) malpractice announcement explains banned and probationary statuses. For students covered by a school ban, the notice sets an appeal-intention email deadline of 24 October 2026, 8:00 PM IST. Read the complete notice for the required process; an appeal does not itself confirm eligibility.
RMO registration and certificate cutoffs
RMO registration opens on 2 November 2026 (Monday), according to the official IOQM portal. This is separate from the IOQM enrollment window, which is closed. Follow official registration instructions and your individual eligibility status.
HBCSE lists RMO for 15 November 2026, 1:00–4:00 PM IST. Prepare for six proof-based problems. Read the RMO guide and HBCSE programme page.
National and regional certificate cutoffs have not yet been announced. The released table is for IOQM-to-RMO qualification. Do not use its numbers as certificate cutoffs.

Has the official IOQM 2026 cutoff been released?
Yes. The official IOQM portal now links the 2026 IOQM-to-RMO cutoff PDF for all 32 regions. This page was checked on 22 October 2026.
Which cutoff column should I use?
Use Category A for Classes 8–11 and Category B for Class 12. The separate Girls column applies only to the additional Category A girls’ quota.
Is 10% enough to qualify for RMO?
No. It is the minimum threshold for consideration. The regional/category cutoff, selection rules and individual official status also apply.
Are the certificate cutoffs released too?
No. The official portal says national and regional certificate cutoffs will be announced shortly. The table on this page is for RMO qualification.
When does RMO 2026 registration open?
The official IOQM portal says registration opens on Monday, 2 November 2026. Follow the official instructions and individual eligibility status.
Do the published cutoff marks override a flagged status?
No. The PDF says flagged students were excluded before calculating cutoffs. Check Student Login and the official malpractice announcement for your individual status and any required action.
