How many students appeared for IOQM 2025-26?
A verified view of the nationwide participation total, the complete state and union territory distribution, and the class-wise count for students in Classes 8 to 12.
Participation across India, in one clear report.
The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics for the 2025-26 cycle was conducted on 7 September 2025. The released aggregate count records 128,783 students. The regional rows and the class-wise rows independently add up to the same national total.
The regional table includes 36 Indian states and union territories and a separate Overseas row of 306 candidates. No city-wise distribution was available in the released dataset.
Classes 8 to 12
Class 10 contributed the largest group, while Classes 9, 10 and 11 together represented 68.5% of all students in the released count.
